Setup a new user to access MFM

1. First, confirm this resource is in the Active Directory. From the Admin tab, select Resource Setup, then select the employee, click on Credentials in the lower right. If you don't use Active Directory other instructions will apply.

When you select Credential, the following dialog will be presented.

2. Answer "Yes" to link this resource to an Enterprise Framework account then enter the last name in the following search window. When you locate the user account you are looking for, select it and Save image.

3. You will then be prompted to select a role for permissions. Choose the role that applies, then Save and return to the Admin tab image.

4. Next, work through the buttons at the bottom of the screen to apply permissions and validations for this user.

Resources: Here you will give permissions to the Companies and/or Departments for the user.
Uploads: If this user will be performing Uploads to the BackOffice, use this option to specify companies they can upload for. If this user will not be performing Uploads, skip this option.
Validations: Assign the Companies, Jobs and Phases for this user. Global Groups: Assign Global Groups for this user.

You have now completed the setup for a new user and they can log into Console (formerly FWC) and begin working.
